1962 Ford Thunderbird Roadster, Convertibles

True Sports Roadsters are hard to find. Even rarer are those that were factory equipped with the “M-Code” TriPower engines. In this week’s Cars On Line Newsletter, we featured one such jewel. Coming to us from Bay City Motorcar Co out of Bay City, Michigan is this 1962 Ford Thunderbird Roadster M-Code.

The dealership tells us the body on this Rangoon Red T-Bird is original and solid metal with correct factory stampings. Mechanically, this classic Bird needs nothing. We’re told she is fully restored and ready to be enjoyed. According to the ad, the fiberglass roadster “bat” top is painted as nicely as the rest of the car and installs easily making this four-seater an even cooler two-seater!  The black vinyl interior is appointed with fresh seats, dash, and carpet and the white retractable soft top is said to be like new.

This 1962 Ford Thunderbird Roadster is an amazing find and a true collector’s piece. There are not many Sports Roadsters on the market, and few M-Codes to be found anywhere.

This car has been SOLD.
