According to the ad, this Calypso Coral Boss 429 was sold new to Neil Potter in 1970 and converted to race car trim in 1974. It competed in a number of major races, including the 1975 12 Hours of Sebring and the 1976 24 Hours of Daytona. The seller tells us in 2009 the car completed a full rotisserie restoration. That same year it was shown at the Mid America Shelby Meet where it won First in Class – Competition Division. They say this Boss 429 Mustang is fully restored and comes with a Deluxe Marti Report. This is the first time in 20 years that it’s been offered for sale, and this week there is a PRICE REDUCED tag in the ad. The seller was originally asking $225,000 for this 1970 Boss 429 Mustang. But today the price has been lowered to just $175,000.
