Even more rare than a Shelby or Mach 1 R code car, this 1969 Mustang 428 Super Cobra Jet is a very desirable collector car. If you followed drag racing back in the day doubtless you’ve seen one of these cars perform at the track. This one is being offered for sale by a private collector from Waynesville, North Carolina. Its pedigree is verified by a Marti Report and a window sticker. The seller says the Black Jade R Code car has undergone a complete ground-up restoration including complete disassembly of the entire car. Great care in detailing has been taken in restoring the undercarriage, trunk area, engine bay and interior. He says all appropriate areas were primer sealed with Red Oxide epoxy primer as original. Photo documentation of the restoration is available.
