1979 International Scout II

1979 International Scout II

The classic Sport Utility market has exploded in the last couple of years as more and more buyers realize they can enjoy a restored, one-of-a-kind vintage truck for less cost than a new 4×4. This weekend in the Cars On Line.com newsletter there was a stellar lineup of classic SUV 4X4s. One of the coolest rides was this 1979 International Scout II with lift kit. It was advertised for sale by Motorcar Studio in Atlanta, Georgia. They regularly have been featuring classic SUVs in their inventory. This highly optioned 1979 Scout II, clad in Omaha Orange with White stripes, has been fully restored to a high standard.  It has an awesome look with just the right updates to make it a capable beach or off-road cruiser, but it’s not so modded that it’s unruly on the streets.  This Scout is easy and comfortable to drive thanks to power steering, power brakes and an automatic transmission.

In addition to being easy to maintain, instantly recognizable and unlike any of your neighbors’ trucks, a classic is an asset that won’t depreciate like a new vehicle. The International Scout II is among the most beloved vintage trucks, and for good reason. A Scout II offers more legroom and cargo space than an Early Bronco and is much rarer than a Jeep CJ.

This car has been SOLD.

It is just one of the many classic SUVs featured in this week’s Cars On Line.com newsletter: click through to the Classic SUV section of the newsletter.
