Don’t miss the SLIDE SHOW ad for this impressive 1967 Camaro Z/28 now for sale Libertyville, Illinois. The seller tells us unlike most of the currently existing Z/28s, this one retains the motor it left the factory with in April 1967. The car has undergone a full rotisserie restoration to factory original specs and is in investment grade condition.
Here is what the seller told us:
The 1967 Z/28 was designed to be a race car and that is exactly how this car was built. While a Z/28 could be ordered with most Camaro options available, this car left the factory with no comfort options, not even a radio. The car has undergone a full rotisserie restoration to factory original specifications by first generation Camaro expert Ken Lucas, of Lucas Restorations in Phoenix, Maryland. The drive-train was restored and rebuilt by Camaro Hi-Performance, Inc. in Eldersburg, Maryland.
This car has been personally examined and certified as an original 1967 Z/28 by Camaro expert, Jerry MacNeish, who describes the car as “absolutely one of the nicest 1967 Z28’s in the country.” The car is #177 in the National 1967 Z28 Registry. During June 2010 the car received a Heritage Designation in the Legends Concours Class at the Camaro Nationals in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. The car received a Top Flight Award with a score of 98.1%.
