Motorcar Trader.com is proud to offer this truly rare 1939 Ford “Woodie” Station Wagon. It’s had three owners that they know of since the 1960s. It has 59,429 miles which is believed to be original. The car runs and drives excellent. In addition, there is no rust on this car.
The majority of the wood is original, with a few exterior vertical pieces replaced and all panel fit is excellent. The doors shut perfect. The Dark Green paint is older, but still nice. There are some chips on the front of the car. The side windows have some de-lamination as they are original
The interior is also in great shape as well with the wooden slats on the headliner looking near perfect.
Everything is working as it should with the exception of the speedometer, which the needle recently broke off. The car is an absolute joy to drive. The engine has great oil pressure. The car shifts great and the clutch feels good.
Overall, this great and very collectible Ford Woodie Wagon. It can be driven anywhere as it is more of a driver than a show car. It is not a National Show Winner, but is ready to enjoy!
This car has been SOLD.
