When in the market for a true high performance machine, you can look to Hennessy Performance, Hendricks Motors or Lingenfelter. “Ultimate street machine” is almost an understatement when talking about the 2010 Camaro Lingenfelter SS/RS just featured in a SLIDE SHOW ad and located in Columbus, Ohio. Less than 1,000 miles ago, Lingenfelter rebuilt the drivetrain with the goal of reaching a staggering 800 horsepower on pump gasoline. They succeeded in their mission, with an engine dynoed at 909 rear-wheel horsepower! Watch the video to see it perform on the track, where the times posted to the board show that this Camaro ran a 9.84 quarter mile at 144 miles per hour at the LSX Shootout World Nationals! We’re told it was second only to Lingenfelter’s own sponsored car.
This car has been SOLD.
The seller states that almost $140,000 has gone into this car, and he has the receipts to prove it. Lingenfelter’s work helped to modify the 427 ci LS7 block engine, EFI tuner and 4-speed automatic transmission. 100-shot nitrous is included, but not used in the current drivetrain. It’s fully streetable with a cold A/C and sunroof, but using it to just get groceries is a comical thought. The passport radar laser jammer is there for the other activities you’ll “definitely won’t” be pursuing in this road demon.
