Some journalists describe the Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance as “the Super Bowl” of the collector car world. It’s held on the 18th hole of the Pebble Beach Golf Course in the Monterey peninsula of California, and is the culmination of a week-long festival of events and collector car auctions, bringing some of the best cars ever produced to the stage.

Prices at the Mecum Auction, RM Auction, Gooding & Company and Bonhams Auction all reported figures that are very encouraging for the collector car market. A 1967 Ferrari 275 NART Spider sold for a record $25 million at the RM Auction. You can see more of the auction results and some of the best cars featured at the show on the Cars On Line Event Coverage page.

The 2013 Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance was one of the premiere car events of the season, but there are plenty more shows happening every week all summer long! Which event will you attend this weekend? You can use the Cars On Line Calendar to see what’s going on near you!
