Chris over at Classic Cars of Sarasota in Florida has a treat for us this week. It’s his personal 1963 Corvette Split Window Fuelie, and he’s confident you won’t find another one like it anywhere. We’re introduced to the car as an all-numbers matching masterpiece, and Chris goes on to show us many of the components that are date-correct, parts like the cylinder heads, manifold and stainless steel shielding, all original to the motor. Even the glass is date code correct, having left the factory with tinted windows. The restoration is top notch, with chrome that might as well be a mirror. Chris states that there are over 1,000 photographs detailing the restoration, and that accompanies three inches of paperwork that he’s accumulated in the 14 years he’s owned it. This is a serious Corvette that won’t go cheap, but serious collectors know it’s worth it.
This car has been SOLD.
