Internet Buyers Looking for Camaros
Move over Mopar muscle cars, Camaros are taking the lead! In a surprising turn-around from one month ago, Camaro has emerged as the most sought after muscle car among internet buyers, claiming 17.78 percent of internet searches last month (See our Camaro Section). The last time the Chevrolet powerhouse found itself in the lead was January 2013.
Each month the Cars On Line staff analyzes statistics from Google and Bing search engines in order to understand consumer trends. This month there was a major shake-up in the rankings, as internet buyers took a break from Mopars and instead shifted their focus to Chevrolet muscle cars. Corvettes jumped up six spots to land in second place on our “Top Ten Most Popular” list for muscle cars. Meanwhile the Pontiac GTO found itself in third place after being absent from the Top Ten list the previous month. Making a drastic decrease was the Dodge Charger. Ranked first in internet searches last month, the Charger fell three spots, garnering just 9.18 percent of searches. View the Top Ten Muscle Cars below.
Once again it was a month dominated by Ford in the classic car market. According to Google and Bing statistics, 12.23 percent of classic car buyers were in pursuit of something built by Ford (See our Ford Section). In an interesting turn of events, the Ford F-100 was the vehicle driving the most interest. The classic pickup was so popular that it made up 4.28 percent of internet searches for classic vehicles. There were only minor changes in August’s classic car rankings. International jumped up two spots to round out the top five, while Rolls-Royce dropped to No. 9, down four spots from the previous month.

Hello,
I came across your website today and I have to say as a car enthusiast and owner of a classic pickup I really enjoyed what I seen. It would be an honor to do a guest post on your blog. A topic I had in mind is “5 Classic Cars that will go Down in History” but I am really open to suggestions, if you have a topic in mind it would be a pleasure to write the article as long as it’s something horsepower related.
Kind regards,
Jason
