Last November a classic and specialty car dealer called Dream Cars of the Carolinas took over a 32,000-square-foot former Chevrolet dealership property in Simpsonville, South Carolina. This week they joined the Cars On Line Dealer Network to put their impressive
inventory on the “big board.” Owner Jim Kugler told us he has a simple philosophy. “I try to stay in a price range that is affordable to the average collector. We try to stay in the kind of inventory that can be priced from $10,000 to $30,000. As more and more dealers are getting into the high end of the market, we continue to serve the average collector in a price range he can afford. Our buyers like to drive their cars.” A good example of that is the 1965 Factory Five Shelby Cobra that was just listed by Dream Cars of the Carolinas yesterday. We’d like our newsletter readers to welcome another new classic car dealer into the ranks of the Cars On Line Dealer Network. A LaMotte, Iowa dealer with a cool name, Classic Rewind, has many fresh listings in the featured ads here in the newsletter this week. They feature 
classic muscle cars, such as this Dusk Blue 1969 Camaro Z/28 with white stripes and correct black interior. They say it is completely numbers matching with a 302 ci motor rated at 290 hp, and a desirable Muncie M22 Heavy Duty 4-speed transmission, otherwise known as the Rock Crusher, plus 3.73 positraction differential. The Deluxe package Z/28 comes with an impressive list of factory extras. According to the ad copy, Camaro historian Jerry MacNeish certified this car as falling into the concours restored category and scored it at 997 out 1000 points.
