Author and historian, Ken Gross brought this 1932 Ford Deluxe 3-Window Coupe to prominence with an article in Rodder’s Journal titled “The Philadephia Story” in 1947. It detailed the story of 16-year old hot rodder William Kelly of Warminster, Pennsylvania and the creation of this now famous car.  It had to endure decades in a garage before it was rediscovered in the 90’s and restored by master metalsmith, Dave Simard in Massachusetts. Bill Kelly returned to assist in the restoration. It would go on to earn spots in The Rodder’s Journal, Street Rodder, Rod & Kulture and the hardcover book The Corvette in the Barn by Tom Cotter.  It’s also enjoyed stays as a feature car for numerous automobile museums, and after spending nearly 20 years under the current owner’s car, it’s ready to move on again!

This car has been SOLD.
