Internet Buyers Looking for Corvettes

For the second month in a row Chevrolet muscle cars have captured the attention of internet buyers. Once again Corvettes took the lead on our “Top Ten Most Popular” list for muscle cars, claiming 17.05 percent of internet searches (See our Corvette Section). Each month the Cars On Line staff analyzes statistics from Google and Bing search engines in order to understand consumer trends. This month internet buyers continued their search for Chevrolet muscle cars. Camaros held steady to the No. 2 spot, grabbing 14.39 percent of internet searches. Meanwhile Pontiac GTOs and Dodge Chargers took the No. 3 and No. 4 spots, respectively. View the Top Ten Muscle Cars below.

Once again it was a month dominated by Ford in the classic car market. According to Google and Bing statistics, 12.35 percent of classic car buyers were in pursuit of something built by Ford (See our Ford Section). For the fifth month in a row, the Ford F100 pickup was the vehicle driving the most interest. The classic truck was so popular that it made up 2.78 percent of internet searches for classic vehicles. There were only minor changes to the rest of the classic car rankings. Making a comeback was Rolls-Royce, which found itself back on the Top Ten list after being absent the previous month.
