Without a doubt, the “Intimidator”, Dale Earnhardt Sr. – if not for his tragic accident, Dale would have continued to set records in the NASCAR world. Since that day I have not watched more than parts of a couple races.
“The King”, Richard Petty is a very close second.
Hard to argue with 200 NASCAR wins, a record that won’t be broken for a very very long time. The “King” Richard Petty for the win.
Earnhardt is the best ever.
I keep reading dale earnhardt sr. Over richard petty. How did they make out racing against each other, they must have crossed paths quite a few times. Richard petty raced a long time and won ALOT of races, noone else is even close.
You can be a great driver, even the greatest of your era but in the end its the guy who wins, and 43 did it better than anyone EVER, so i really don’t get it. How about have richard petty above number one and then rate everybody else after that then there won’t be any issues.
