I was amazed at the above ’58 Pontiac Chieftan Convertible. Tri-Power. I had one just like this when I was a teenager was wondering if there is a resource for me to get the actual specifications on this particular car???? I have tried GM’s web site and others and there doesn’t seem to be a lot available on this model, I mean, it’s nearly 60 years old now. Still, I believe there has to be some place where the horsepower, the specs. on the engine, the transmission, and all the rest is available somewhere either on-line or otherwise. I know that this car had a radio that was removable and it became a little transistor that you could carry to a camp site or others to have music wherever you wanted it to be. It had vacuum wipers and the transmission was a 4 speed Hydramatic, pretty advanced for a car of that vintage. Let me know if you can direct me to a resource that might help. Thanks so much.
