“Only about 26 exist today”

Here is a cream puff in the rough if there ever was one. You know this 1970 Chevelle SS LS6 Convertible is rare as hens teeth. Sadly it does not have the documentation that would bring it to the highest price range. Vintage Vettes in Kansas City, Missouri has come up with this ultra desirable muscle car, one of only seventeen LS6 454/450 hp convertibles built in 1970. Dan Carr, a Chevelle historian and known expert, has reported that he believes only 95 LS6 convertibles were ever produced. He also says that only about 26 real cars still exist today. Vintage Vettes states, “There is no factory paperwork for this car.” They say a body-off restoration took place on the car approximately nine years ago, and that it has been driven sparingly since that time. Because of how rare it is this is one to check carefully. It is priced as if the seller thinks he has a real car less the documentation to prove it.
