A friend of mine spotted an Impala SS 427 at Carlisle one year and freaked out. They are so rare that he never thought he would ever have a chance to own one. It just so happened he bought that car and has been grateful for the opportunity ever since. These cars are so rare that only 2,245 cars were reported to have been built in 1969. They continue to be a rare find among muscle cars. This week a collector from Menasha, Wisconsin listed his 1969 Chevy Impala SS 427 and says it is a real one. Naturally, this would be a 4-speed car with a 12-bolt rear end. He says it was purchased new at Gibson Chevrolet in the Fox Valley area. The seller’s description indicates that the car has 90 percent original paint, a very rare and very original example. He writes that it runs and drives perfect. And now the best part. This car is so affordable that it will be our DEAL of the DAY on Saturday. This one is well below market value priced at just $18,900. Hurry!
