Internet Buyers Looking for Mopars

Do the results to June’s “Top Ten Most Popular” list for muscle cars look familiar? If you read last month’s Top Ten Report they should – nothing has changed! Once again the Dodge Charger took the lead on our Top Ten, claiming 15.9 percent of internet searches (See our Mopar Section). Each month Cars On Line staff analyzes statistics from Google and Bing search engines in order to understand consumer trends, and this month we found very little change to the rankings. Camaro remained steady in second with 12.43 percent of internet searches, while Corvette held on to third with 9.16 percent of searches. View the Top Ten Muscle Cars below.

It was no surprise to see Ford dominate the classic car market again this past month. According to Google and Bing statistics, 12.66 percent of classic car buyers were in pursuit of something built by Ford (See our Ford Section). In an interesting turn of events, the Ford Model A was the vehicle driving the most interest. The vintage cruiser was so popular it made up 2.34 percent of internet searches for classic vehicles. There were only minor changes to the rest of the classic car rankings for June. Cadillac jumped up four spots to land in sixth place. Meanwhile Rolls-Royce once again found itself off the list completely. You’ll note this was the first time in as many months that Packard made an appearance within the Top Ten.
