1970 PLYMOUTH HEMI CUDA
Nicest One Available For The Money Today
One of the noted Mopar experts in the country told us this week that you can’t find a high end Hemi Cuda in the whole country that you can buy. “There’s nothing out there that’s worth the big money,” he says. He told us that there are many big collectors that are looking to gobble up every Hemi Cuda that becomes available. They, of course, are only looking for clean original cars with documented and known histories.
Mopar Ponderosa, from Prior Lake, Minnesota has just listed a beautiful 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda that will get collectors taking about it. What will get them most excited is the price. Don’t expect this one to be in our listings for long. Mopar Ponderosa says the car does not have its original Hemi engine – long gone. But it does have the authentic 426 Hemi, and the car is excellent, according to the seller.
They say it is a real Hemi Cuda, 4-speed which comes with a full Dave Wise inspection report and a buildsheet. They say it is a “great, rust free Texas car.” Mopar Ponderosa says they will gladly assist a potential buyer if they would like to have a pre-purchase inspection of their own. Hemi Cudas this nice are going to be harder to come by in the coming months as some of the high end auctions such as the RM Auction and Mecum Auction at Monterey are coming up.
The seller says it is the cheapest Hemi Cuda 4-speed on the market today.
