Last year whenever we flew to California to cover car shows there it was always the same story. The gen-X’ers were all about classic Volkswagen vans and pop-up campers. Some market makers were bidding up the 21-window VW buses to over $100,000 at the Barrett-Jackson auctions and other high profile auctions around the country. So our eyebrows were raised when we saw this 1967 Volkswagen Vanagon for a very affordable price. The seller, from St-Redempteur, Quebec Canada, said it was professionally restored to its original color and equipment. We couldn’t wait to show it to you here in the DEAL of the DAY feature. This car has been SOLD.
This bus has been PROFESSIONALLY restored to its original color and condition by one of the best VW body shops here. The bench seats and inside springs are all still original only the the padding and upholstery have been entirely re-done throughout the entire car (including the ragtop).
