Today one of our advertisers called to update us on his latest collector car for sale. The gentleman is from Stuart, Virginia and says this 1969 Camaro RS is a real Rally Sport Camaro. Although it is an older restoration he indicates that it has all of its original sheet metal, and the headlights and buckets seem to be all original as well. That makes this RS a rare find.
Camaros have replaced the ’57 Chevy as America’s car. Today around 25 percent of people looking to buy an American muscle car are looking for a 1969 Camaro. That’s how importantChevrolet’s Camaro has become to the American psyche. We don’t often have them in our feature of the Cars On Line newsletter, but today we do. Here is a Dusk blue 1969 Camaro RSbeing offered by a private seller from Stuart, Virginia. He says it has a 331 stroker with the TH350 automatic transmission and Camaro 10-bolt with 3.73 gearing. He says it is a solid car. “This is a real Rally Sport car,” he says. “All the headlight parts are there and you can tell it was all original. It has all its original sheet metal, too.” The restoration is 15 years old now so it is not a show car. It will be our featured on Saturday. The asking price is $24,900.
