Gullwing Motor Cars in New York posted a rare 1957 Aston Martin DB2/4, an extremely desirable find for any top world class collector. To give you an idea of just how rare this car is:only 16 DB2/4 MKII dropheads were ever built. This one is said to be one of only six left hand drive examples. The previous owner of this black convertible claims the 12,880 original miles to be accurate but notes that it cannot be documented. He says the interior is original and the paint is older showing some age. Gullwing stated that the car starts with no smoking on a cold start and immediately goes into a smooth idle. They say it has a matching numbers engine, body and chassis. They point out that it will be eligible for rallies and events such as the world class Colorado Grand and the California Mille Miglia.
