Orbit Orange was a color used for the 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge only. This one, just posted by a private collector in Shoreline, Washington, is one of only 618 produced with this rare color. The combination of Orbit Orange paint and the Sandalwood tan interior is even more rare. We think this is one of the top finds in our newsletter this weekend.
Not only was this car documented by the Pontiac Historical Society as a code 06, but the seller says it also has undergone a frame-off rotisseries restoration with less than 200 miles since completed. They say it has been stored in climate controlled building, has matching numbers engine, transmission, rear end and carburetor; and is equipped with acuum operated exhaust ”VOE” – Loud to quiet mode at the pull of a knob. They say it also has a rare Formula steering wheel, plus an in-dash tachometer. The seller says that correct parts were used throughout the restoration.
