A 1965 Pontiac GTO Convertible muscle car bargain has shown up in the Cars On Line new listings this week. It is offered at such an affordable price that we had to list it as our DEAL of the DAY.
Pontiac GTOs are America’s muscle car. By 1965 the GTO had become young America’s car of choice. So today it is still a favorite among those baby boomers who remember those days. A private seller from New Orleans, Louisiana just posted his 1965 Pontiac GTO Convertible for sale this week. He describes it as being a driver class car, not a show vehicle. But it is probably the lowest priced ’65 GTO convertible we have on our site. He says it is a true Montero red/black interior, white top goat. Here is where it gets interesting. This GTO was a 389 4-barrel with a 3-speed standard transmission from the factory. But it now has a 428 ci HO motor with #16 heads, and a 421 tripower set-up. It also how has a 4-speed. Very desirable for the price. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Saturday with an asking price of just $24,000. Live your dream with your dream car.
In the popular DEAL of the DAY preview we give you first shot at all the cars that will be featured in the DEAL of the DAY “rear view mirror” seen daily on the Cars On Line home page.
