1970 AMC Rebel Machine For Sale
Len Napoli of Napoli Classics in Milford, Connecticut just listed a 1970 AMC Rebel Machine which he says is probably the best one in the country. He says it is one of only three made likethis with Seafoam Aqua paint. A total of 2,326 Rebel Machines were produced by AMC at the Kenosha, Wisconsin plant. Over half of the Rebel Machines wore red, white and blue paint. 1970 is the only year the Rebel Machine was produced. Napoli says this one came with a 390 ci big block rated at 340 horsepower, Shift Command automatic on the console, black bucket seats, 3.54 posi Twin Grip rear end, power steering, tilt wheel and cruise control. He says it has an original window sticker and a letter from the Rebel Machine registry. The Rebel Machine was AMC’s premier muscle car. It came with special heads, valves, cam and 690 cfm 4-barrel carburetor. Even at the AMC Homecoming which we go to every year, we’ve never seen one this nice.
