1956 Pontiac Chieftain Station Wagon For Sale
RK Motors Charlotte has Ozzie and Harriett’s 1956 Pontiac Chieftain Station Wagon in their showroom in North Carolina. It was originally owned by Ozzie and Harriet Nelson and featured in their TV show, The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet. You may remember when the Nelson family, including a teenage Rick Nelson later to be a famous Rock N Rolls star, went on vacation in their family station wagon in one of their featured TV shows. Highlights of this celebrity classic include an original 316ci Strato Streak V8, Hydramatic 4-speed automatic transmission, factory-optioned power drum brakes and factory air conditioning, among many others. They tell us it is a national award winner that has spent most of its lifetime between the TV screen and the museum floor. See dozens of sharp high resolution photos at this link.

Anyone happen to know where I can find a set of those taillight housings that are in decent shape? I have this exact car (same colors, even!) but it’s a major restoration project. The hardest thing to find has been those taillights (the originals are seriously pitted and can’t be re-chromed) so any help would be greatly appreciated!
