Rare 1966 Shelby GT350H for sale!
One of the most often replicated muscle cars in recent years is the 1966 Shelby GT350H. There are so many clones running around that when you see a real one it makes you stop and think about how rare they are. Old Forge Motorcars in Lansdale, Pennsylvania has listed this 1966 Shelby GT350H for sale. The “H” is for Hertz, a special promotion by Hertz Rent-A-Car where you could literally rent a race car made by Shelby. Those were different times. It is pretty rare that it came in Ivy Green and Gold Lemans stripes instead of black and gold. Only 58 were produced for the Hertz promotion in these colors. Only a handful of these cars came equipped with factory air conditioning in ’66. They say it is documented in the SAAC Registry, and has undergone a professional restoration at Glazier/Nolan in Souderton, Pennsylvania. Notice that it has the 14″ chrome Magnum 500 wheels, Hertz brake booster and Cobra valve covers.
