Most Recent Collector Car Values Revealed
The Cars On Line Market Trends report is out for the first quarter of 2015, and there is some good news. For once, collector car values are trending upward, although ever so slightly. According to the Cars On Line Market Trends report collector car values are up 2.7 percent for the first quarter. The 1957 Oldsmobile 98 Starfire Convertible with J2 motor (shown above) is up the most of any of our sample group cars. Pricing on the ’57 Starfire convertible increased by 22.3 percent during the past three months. Classic ’50s cars in general seem to have made the biggest price moves so far in 2015. The 1956 Ford Sunliner is up 14.8 percent in value; classic ’50s Cadillacs, Packards, Pontiacs and Studebakers are all showing increases in value. The 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda is up among popular muscle cars, but Ford Mustang Boss 302’s, M code Mach 1’s, Camaro Z/28’s, Chevelle SS’s, Plymouth AAR Cudas, Dodge T/A Challengers and Pontiac GTO’s are all down in the first three months of this year.
