General Lee 1968 Dodge Charger For Sale

You’ve seen the TV commercial for Auto Trader where Bo and Luke Duke are being chased by some county mounties in their latest recreation of the General Lee 1968 Dodge Charger (they made a ’68 look like the ’69 for the TV show in the 1980’s.) Well a Michigan collector who specializes in TV and movie cars is advertising the General Lee from the commercial in Cars On Line’s Mopar Section this weekend. See the Slideshow Ad with photos of John Schneider and Tom Wopat (Bo and Luke) with the car. They say it is an original car from the TV series in the 1980’s. It is now powered by a 496/540 hp stroker big block with Edelbrock aluminum heads and intake manifold. Documents include a certificate from the builder, Picture Car Warehouse, a copy of the script and a Mopar Collectors Guide article written about this car. The current owner is hoping to attract attention to the car in advance of the Mecum Auction in Indianapolis on May 14, 2015 where this car will be up for bid.
