Our readers may think Gullwing Motor Cars is just showing off this weekend with all the incredible classic exotic cars they’ve been listing. And they would be right. What a display of high dollar cars they have listed. For instance, they posted a super hard-to-find classic 1955 Aston Martin DB2/4 Drophead, a left hand drive model from the factory. You’ll find it is nicely updated with light blue metallic paint, Vredestein tires and a set of period foglights. The original classic interior is trimmed in red as it was from the factory with a complement of Smith gauges. Note the coachwork is by Mulliners. It has a wood trimmed steering wheel and period radio onboard. It even has a period suitcase in the trunk compartment. They say it comes with a copy of the original factory build record, jack, tools and the owner’s manual. The engine is a powerful 2,922 cc DOHC Inline 6 cylinder with two SU carbs, rated at 140 horsepower at 5,000 rpm. The transmission is a 4-speed manual, and it comes with its independent front suspension with live rear axle and 4-wheel drum brakes. This is one of the finest imported sports cars to add to any collection.
