1957 Chevy Nomad Show Car for Sale!
An outstanding example of a show quality 1957 Chevy Nomad was listed this week by Classic Car Marketing for one of their clients in Southern California. The call it the “Midnight Nomad,” and you can see it is simply stunning. It has well over 100 body modifications, and is as close to perfection as a builder can get. This expansive design took three years to complete. All the metal work and custom engine cover were done by master builder Brent Karlson. Front and rear bumpers have been tucked and everything has been welded. You can see the “bullets” were removed from the hood and it has been reskinned. The full leather custom interior was done by the famed Ron Mangus. Note the one-off custom dash with all instruments moved to the center to match the waterfall center console. It has a new LS1 Chevy motor with 4L85 automatic overdrive transmission, power brakes with Hydro boost, disc fronts, tubular front A-arms with coil overs, and QA1 shocks in the rear. You’ll notice the Budnik rims with a special offset designed specially for this car. You will not often come across a classic custom done to this extent, so fresh and at the peak of its restored lifespan. Click through to the ad to enjoy more photos!
