1959 Chevrolet El Camino

1959 Chevrolet El Camino for Sale

A beautifully restored 1959 Chevrolet El Camino is now for sale from Auto Investors in Dothan, Alabama. According to the ad, the vehicle underwent a no expense spared frame-off restoration, making it simply breathtaking. Here’s what the seller had to say:

“The build began with a solid body that was removed from its chassis where it was prepped for paint. All glass, chrome, stainless, weather stripping, etc… was removed from the body and replaced with new or refinished to new condition. The red paint is a two stage base coat/clear coat finish which looks amazing with a beautiful shine. The body is arrow straight with excellent seams and body alignment, excellent fit and finish. The interior was completely replaced with new along with all gauges and chrome hardware. A new A/C system was also installed for those hot summer days. After the chassis was stripped and painted it received all new bushings, fuel tank, suspension components, fuel and brake lines, and disc brakes up front. The El Camino is powered by a freshly built 348 big block 4bbl. V8 the starts right up first turn of the key and idles smooth and quiet, you would swear it was a late model fuel injected engine it runs so smooth. An all new serpentine pulley system was installed by Billet Specialties along with a new aluminum water pump. The transmission is a new 700R4 automatic overdrive that shifts great with no issues and makes highway driving much more enjoyable.”
