Rare Jack Douglass Yenko Camaro for Sale

What is more rare than a Yenko Camaro? It is a little known fact that Don Yenko allowed Jack Douglass Chevrolet in Hinsdale, Illinois build Yenko Camaros under license in 1969. When you bought a Yenko Camaro from Jack Douglass he left the bowtie emblems on the car and replaced the 427 emblem with a “Douglass” emblem along the rear body panel. It is thought that 24 Douglass Yenkos were built that year, although Douglass has been quoted as saying the number was 25.

The 1969 Douglass Yenko Camaro you see here is believed to be one of only two built in Dover white. It was repainted 10 years ago, but has never been restored. It remains very original, according to Nickey Chicago. They say it has a re-stamped, NOM motor, and shows only 39k miles, believed to be accurate. There are 25 historical documents posted with the ad to go through and study. Nickey, a legendary muscle car name in their own right, is selling the car and believes it to be very well documented.
