Rare 1966 Pontiac 2+2 Convertible for sale!
A Chicago based collector has posted this rare and unique Pontiac muscle car. It is a 1966 Pontiac 2+2 Convertible with a 421 ci big block motor. The private seller states that it is a “real deal” and PHS documented historic muscle car. He bills it as a “Super rare 2+2 428 Tripower 4-speed with 3:42 Posi, power steering, power brakes, factory tach and gauges, bucket seats and a console. He does note however that the correct tripower was added when the car was restored. He says it has undergone a nut and bolt frame-on restoration using NOS and original parts. Pontiac historians believe that this is one of only 50 such cars produced. The car was originally purchased new at Miller Pontiac in Columbus, Georgia. They say it was in storage from 1977 until 1998. The seller writes that it has its original drivetrain which is #s matching. He says the undercarriage on this car is “Mint.”
