1973 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 for sale!
Gullwing Motor Cars in Astoria, New York was very active this week in the collector car market. In addition to our feature car they have also listed some rare classic 1973 Ferrari GTB/4 Daytona Ferraris.
This 1973 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona (click here to see the ad!) in Rosso Bordeaux finish has been a California car most of its life. They tell us it has had only three owners and still has just 44k miles. They state that it is an amazing driver with many factory options, including power windows and air conditioning. It has been documented by Ferrari historian Marcel Massini. It also comes with its documented ownership history and service records from new. It is recorded as chassis # 16449. The 365 GTB/4 replaced the 275 GTB/4. They say the “Daytona” designation was not officially part of the name from Ferrari, but was rather coined by the media to commemorate the 1-2-3 finish at the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1967. The GTB/4 was first shown at the Paris Auto Show in 1968.
