1970 Plymouth Superbird for sale!

Up for sale in Gateway Classic Cars‘ Nashville, Tennessee showroom is a 1970 Plymouth Superbird (click here to see the ad!) finished in Lemon Twist. The ad reports the Superbird was built as part of the NASCAR race program and is powered by a 440 Super Commando 6-Pack engine. It was restored at no expense in the late ’80s by one of MOPARs most recognized premier MOPAR collectors. See the video!

Here’s more from the ad:

“Broken down by none other than the world renown Gallen Govier, the list of specs are arranged as follows: #490 of the NASCAR list of 1920 VINs, #100 in the 10th batch of Superbirds built, #618 of the 1935 Superbirds built, #102 of the 389 440-6bbls registered in the USA, and it’s one of 716 Superbirds sold as new in the USA. What’s rarest of all is the one option that makes this car stated to be a ONE OF ONE! This is believed to be the only Plymouth Superbird ordered from the factory with power steering delete. That’s right, this 70 Plymouth Superbird for sale was ordered with a S77 delete option!”
