1969 Corvette Stingray Big Block Coupe

1969 Corvette Stingray Big Block Coupe

We often say that Corvettes are the Gold Standard of the Collector Car Hobby. They hold their value better than any other model ever produced. So it is rare that we can offer a 1969 Corvette Stingray big block coupe like this one in our DEAL of the DAY feature. (Follow this link to view the Stingray and get owner’s contact information.) The 427 ci big block Corvette is from Vail, Arizona. The seller says it is an L36 matching numbers 427 survivor with a 4-speed, factory air conditioning power steering and power brakes. He notes that it is a Southwest car with no rust. The Daytone yellow paint looks good in the photos but you might want to have the car inspected to find out more. He says it needs paint, interior and finishing, so it may be more of a restoration project. But he also says it runs and drives great. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Saturday. The asking price is $29,500.

Here is what the ad said:

The DEAL of the DAY preview gives you first shot at all the cars that will be featured in the DEAL of the DAY feature on the Cars On Line home page. Often these cars sell in the newsletter before they even make it to the home page! You’ll always see them here first though.

A 1969 Corvette Stingray Big Block Coupe like this one done in Daytona yellow is an awesome sight to see. But it is easy to make a car look good in photos. Be sure to have it inspected before you buy. That’s our motto. One man’s treasure is another man’s nightmare. Cars On Line has a third-party inspection service to help you make an informed decision about your collector car buy. Here is the link to the Cars On Line inspection service.
