1933 Ford Alloway Speedstar for sale!
When this 1933 Ford Alloway Speedstar (Click here to see the ad!) was listed this week we found out it combined two of the greatest names in hot rod building, Boyd Coddington and Bobby Alloway. As a tribute to his respect for custom car builder Bobby Alloway who designed the Alloway Speedstar, the late Boyd Coddington owned this car in his collection. In fact, it was seen on Coddngton’s famous TV show “American Hot Rod” broadcast on The Learning Channel. Soon after that it was sold to the Kruse Auction Company. It is being offered for sale by its current owner in Danville, New Hampshire.
The car has been shown with the moniker “Blue Blaze” and has won many awards. In addition to its celebrity connections, this car has a unique ZZ430 big block motor. The paint is House of Kolor Cobalt Blue with Tuxedo Black custom flames. “Stunning” and “show quality” were the terms used to describe this paint job. It has a Kugel all chromed and polished front and rear suspension, disc brakes all around, Budnik rims, completely chromed dual exhaust, Vintage Air, Dakota Digital seven-gauge dash, power license plate, power trunk and power windows. Note the custom wraparound seat when you click here to view a list of features and more photos.
