A 1931 Ford Model A Roadster has been offered this week for a starter car price. What a fun old school hot rod. (Be sure to click through to the ad on the Cars On Line website today.) That is important because it looks as though this one is already nicely sorted out. The seller from Elkhart, Indiana tells us he invested a lot in this ride, but is now selling it for a very affordable price. Your gain. The rear suspension is a Nova 10-bolt rear axle, transverse spring and tubular ladder bars. The wheels are steel, reverse style with baby moon caps and trim rings. The chrome, folding windshield has been chopped two inches and the floor channeled 6 1/2 inches. A number of interesting mods are described in the ad. Suffice it to say, this one will be our DEAL of the DAY later next week if it lasts that long. The asking price is $18,750.
Here is what the private seller had to say about his 1931 Ford Model A Roadster:
“MEGA BUCKS INVESTED. MY LOSS YOUR GAIN. So hurry! 21,995 firm, no trades.” (You’ll notice he has reduced the price even more just today.) “Has it all! Chopped, channeled. My hot rod Caddy. OHV V8. It hauls the mail. Old school nostalgic hot rod. Buy this cutie and relive your youth!”
