During the heyday of the emerging muscle car era Oldsmobile was developing their 4-4-2, a four-barrel, four-speed with dual exhaust. Although automatics were included in this muscle car formula, the Oldsmobile 442 for 1968 was a gentleman’s muscle car with creature comforts. This week Cruisin Classics of Columbus, Ohio has advertised a 1968 Oldsmobile 442 in a deep burgundy color that outperforms the original. They tell us it has a 455 ci big block motor “that sounds like it will rip anything up.” Be sure to view their video and hear it fun. They say it is ready for the road and the shows.
