A first generation Camaro RS/SS tribute was just announced as this week’s DEAL of the DAY in the Cars-On-Line.com newsletter. While an original Camaro RS/SS might be quite pricey for the average hobby car enthusiast, this one is a tribute or clone of the original at a very good price point. It is offered by Cool Cars of Pompano Beach, Florida. (Click here to view their advertisement.)
The clone comes loaded with options and a desirable white with black SS trim, the RS front valance with hidden headlights and an SS hood. Inside it has a console, tic-toc-tach, buckets seats, console and Muncie 4-speed. If that sounds interesting, this may be the one to have inspected. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Saturday. The asking price is only $28,500.
Cool Cars tells us the white paint on this first generation Camaro RS/SS tribute is applied over a straight body. The GM 383 engine is built with a high rise intake, roller rockers, forged rods and aluminum heads. The car uses a pulley system, electronic ignition and headers.
The DEAL of the DAY preview gives you first shot at all the cars that will be featured in the DEAL of the DAY section on the Cars On Line home page. Often these cars sell in the newsletter before they even make it to the home page! You’ll always see them here first.
