A 1970 Ford Torino GT Convertible chosen Deal of the Day in the Cars-On-Line newsletter comes at a great price. (Follow this link to the ad on Cars-On-Line.com now.) In an unheard of offering by a private seller from Ft Atkinson, Wisconsin, the convertible version of Ford’s desirable muscle car is now available for $14,900.
In general, Ford Torinos are the most under-appreciated muscle cars in the collector car market. Rodney Dangerfield would say, “They just don’t get no respect.” Here is a 1960’s muscle car era Ford which is priced so affordably that we knew we had to note it here. The private seller says it remains in very nice condition. He says it comes with fresh paint, many new suspension parts, newer brakes, in mostly original condition. He further disclosed that it has a non-numbers matching 302 ci V8 engine, automatic transmission, 8″ rear end and column shift with bucket seats.
Cars-On-Line.com speculated that the 1970 Ford Torino GT Convertible chosen Deal of the Day may not last the weekend at that price. They observed that once the newsletter was published people would be tripping over each other to get a chance to buy this Ford muscle car at this price.
