In Cars-On-Line’s last newsletter of the year, they just announced that a 1971 Corvette Coupe will be their featured DEAL of the DAY on Saturday during New Year’s weekend. Corvettes are the Gold Standard of the collector car market. These American sports cars were collectible from the day they came out of the factory. Here is a 1971 Corvette for sale by a private seller from West Babylon, New York. (Follow this link to see dozens of high resolution photos of the entire car.) We Be Autos.com is the broker for this special deal. Although it has an NOM 350 crate motor, the original motor sits on a stand next to it. They say it has correct original rally wheels with white letter tires, original spare tire carrier is correctly in place, original exhaust manifolds on the car. Be sure to view this video walk-around from We Be Autos.com. They say it is a great driver with much better than driver quality paint. It will be our featured DEAL of the DAY on Saturday. The asking price is $14,995.
In their description, We Be Autos.com highlights why this 1971 Corvette Coupe is so special. “The car is very clean and very straight, interior is nicely redone. Engine in the car is a 350 crate motor that runs well which was installed 2 years ago with new clutch and original motor is on a stand and comes with the car. Original engine will need to be gone over completely. Exhaust is brand new! Has correct original rally wheels with white letter tires, original spare tire carrier is correctly in place, original exhaust manifolds on the car, no horrendous headers, original distributor and wire shielding and much more! This is a great driver with much better than driver paint but it needs a couple of things like the wiper door is not working, the right front caliper has small leak, exhaust has small leak at manifold but engine was put in 2 years ago so bolts will be easily removed and replaced. Original color of the car was silver and interior is original code black. “
The DEAL of the DAY preview gives you first shot at all the cars that will be featured in the DEAL of the DAY section on the Cars On Line home page. These deals have been getting better and better each week as the collector car market goes “to sleep” for the winter. Often these cars sell in the newsletter before they even make it to the home page! You’ll always see them here first though.
