1968 Ford Fairlane 500 Convertible

This week’s Deal of the Day on the internet is a 1968 Ford Fairlane 500 Convertible like the ones you used to see on the streets back in the day. For a solid daily driver this one is affordably priced. It was just selected by Cars-On-Line.com as its Deal of the Day in the Friday edition of the Cars-On-Line.com newsletter. The private seller is asking $15,950.

Ford Fairlanes were popular cars to tune for racing in the 1960’s. Here is a 1968 Ford Fairlane 500 Convertible with a 302 Ford small block. (Follow this link to view more photos and a description from the private seller.) The seller from Cape Girardeau, Missouri says it is numbers matching. What’s more, he says it has its original owner’s manual, warranty-card, safety instructions and warranty booklet. The seller says it is just a driver class car with some blemishes, but that it is a solid driver which runs well. The interior photo shows some wear and soiling, so you can imagine that it will need some TLC.

The Deal of the Day preview in the Cars-On-Line.com newsletter gives you first shot at all the cars that will be highlighted in the Deal of the Day feature on the Cars On Line home page. Often these cars sell in the newsletter before they even make it to the home page! You’ll always see them here first though.
