A rare 1964 Buick LeSabre Convertible was chosen as the DEAL of the DAY for Saturday by Cars-On-Line.com. Here is a quality find the likes of which you do not come across everyday. Each week, Cars-On-Line.com selects the best deals on the internet for its newsletter readers. This week’s selection is said to run and drive like a new car.
Not only is this 1964 Buick LeSabre Convertible a rare find, but the Wisconsin seller tells us this one still drives like a new car. (Follow this link to review photos and contact information.) He says he found this car in Florida and it still has no rust on the undercarriage. He says he replaced the radiator, front brake hoses and dual exhaust. He also found an OEM factory carburetor to replace the original one. A big update was the replacement of a convertible top. This car came with a power trunk release, AM/FM radio, power windows, power seats, power antenna, power steering, power brakes and air conditioning. He says the heater control unit does not work, although everything else is in working order. He also adds that the head gaskets, timing chain and oil pump are all new. Cars-On-Line.com suggests having it inspected to verify the condition before you buy. But they chose this classic Buick convertible because the asking price is $9,500, a deep discount to the average value on the collector car market.
The DEAL of the DAY preview gives you first shot at all the cars that will be featured in the DEAL of the DAY section on the Cars On Line home page. Often these cars sell in the newsletter before they even make it to the home page! You’ll always see them here first though.
