When the Cars-On-Line.com newsletter came out this afternoon one of the featured cars was a 1963 Pontiac Bonneville with the headline “Deal of the Day.” As the story goes, this executive’s muscle car is set to be highlighted in their Deal of the Day feature on the front page of their website on Sunday.
By 1963, Pontiac’s Bonneville model had transformed into a full size car with performance features, i.e. a hot rod for executive types. This week a 1963 Pontiac Bonneville was listed for sale by a private seller from Daytona Beach, Florida. (Follow this link for more photos and info on Cars-On-Line.com.) The price was so affordable that COL choose it as their Deal of the Day for Sunday on the front page of their website. The asking price is $12,900.
The seller says it is a 5-footer (which means it looks good from five feet away, but if you get up real close you might find some imperfections.) But the seller says it is a very presentable driver quality vehicle that you can take to local shows. And it is a realiable car, according to the serller. “The bones are there,” he says. “Underneath is extremely nice, very clean, straight, and finished in flat black with a light undercoat which is consistent with a factory application.” He says the floors and trunk pans are nice. All in all, he says it is a respectable collector car.
The DEAL of the DAY preview gives you first shot at all the cars that will be highlighted in the DEAL of the DAY feature on the Cars On Line home page. Often these cars sell in the newsletter before they even make it to the home page! You’ll always see them here first though. For a preview of all this week’s DEALs click this link.
