First Generation Chevrolet Camaro Chosen Deal of the Day

First generation Chevrolet Camaro

Have you noticed how hard it is to find a first generation Chevrolet Camaro convertible these days? Collectors have been gobbling them up for decades now. Sometimes it seems that there are none left. Then something wonderful happens as happened today in the newsletter. The Deal of the Day on the internet was announced for Saturday, June 1, and, yes, you guessed it, it is a 1967 Camaro Convertible from Pompano Beach, Florida.

It is not often that you see a first generation Chevrolet Camaro in the Deal of the Day feature of the newsletter. But Cool Cars out of Pompano Beach, Florida listed one at a very atrractive price point. (Just follow this link to view dozens of detailed photos online.) This 1967 Camaro Convertible is a rare 3-speed on the column version ordered from the dealer with a 327 small block Chevy motor. It sports Marina blue paint “on a straight body” they tell us. It also comes with bucket seats, dual exhaust and a new white convertible top. The bodywork is not perfect, but Cool Cars presents it as a driver quality car. It will be the Deal of the Day on Saturday since the asking price is only $26,995.

The Deal of the Day preview is a feature of the newsletter each week. It gives you first shot at all the cars that will be highlighted in the DEAL of the DAY feature on the Cars On Line home page for the coming week. Often these cars sell in the newsletter before they even make it to the home page! You’ll always see them in the newsletter first, though. For a sneak peek at all of the coming week’s Deals of the Day follow this link to the fresh edition of the COL newsletter.
