The Cars-On-Line.com Thanksgiving Weekend edition was just published and has picked a Mayan red 1978 Pontiac Trans Am as the Deal of the Day for this coming Saturday. It is the highlighted “best bargain” of the week.
Pontiac was the last of the General Motors companies to continue to produce muscle cars all the way through the 1970’s and early 1980’s. These 1970’s Pontiac Trans Ams are very collectable. Here is a beautiful Mayan red 1978 Pontiac Trans Am being offered for sale by Showdown Auto out of Clinton Township, Michigan. (Find dozens of detailed photos at this link.)
It has the WS4 package and a 6.6L 400 ci 4-barrel V8 with automatic transmission and factory air conditioning. They noted that it is an “overall great car … a real head turner. Mileage shows 88k, but is not documented.” It checks all the boxes, but comes at an affordable price range.
