In its weekly newsletter for the collector car community, Cars-On-Line announced the top Deals of the Day on the internet this week. A 1960 Chevrolet Impala 4-Door Hardtop was cited as being the Deal of the Day for Monday.
A regular collector in the Dallas area has listed this 1960 Chevrolet Impala 4-Door Hardtop, the body style often referred to as a “Flattop” because it has the normal flat looking roofline instead of the “Bubble Top.” (You can find more photos and a description of this car on the actual ad page.) It has a non-original 350 small block Chevy engine with the TH350 automatic transmission, a common replacement for older Chevy drivetrains. But it looks original as it sits on wide whitewall tires. The seller says the gauges, wipers and blinkers all work. The car came from the Palm Desert area of California so the car’s heater is not hooked up currently. He says it runs and drives as it should … “floats down the highway!!” It will be the Deal of the Day on Monday. The asking price is $17,500. Hurry on this one. Deals like this on classic Chevrolet Impalas don’t last long.
The Deal of the Day feature is a trademark of the Cars-On-Line.com website. Each week in the newsletter they preview all of the cars and trucks which will be highlighted in their popular Deal of the Day feature on the front page of their website. The preview gives you first shot at all the best bargains before they appear on the website. Often these cars sell in the newsletter before they even make it to the homepage.
