1951 Crosley Hot Shot Selected Deal of the Day

1951 Crosley Hot Shot

As the latest edition of the Cars-On-Line newsletter hit email boxes all across the U.S. and Canada this afternoon, a 1951 Crosley Hot Shot was announced as this week’s top Deal of the Day. The classic microcar was shown as one of this week’s chosen Deals of the Day to be highlighted on the front page of the Cars-On-Line.com website on Friday. Not only is a Crosley Hot Shot incredibly rare to find, but this one is being offered for sale at such an affordable price, it was chosen as one of next week’s Deals of the Day on the internet.

When you view this little 1951 Crosley Hot Shot sports car (follow this link to read the ad and see more photos), you may not realize that it was rated as one of the greatest sports cars of all time. Certainly it is the best of all microcars ever built. A Hot Shot won the Sam Collier Endurance Grand Prix at Sebring, as well as the SCCA’s 12 Hours of Vero Beach. It dominated the 750 cc class in SCCA racing. It has a 44 ci 4 cylinder motor producing 26.5 horsepower and shifts through a 3-speed manual transmission with disc brakes all around. It runs on a dropped frame with 80-inch wheelbase. This would be the centerpiece of any microcar collection. Why will it be a featured Deal of the Day next week? The asking price is only $17,500.

The Deal of the Day preview gives you first shot at all the cars that will be highlighted in the popular daily feature on the Cars-On-Line homepage. Often these cars sell in the newsletter before they even make it to the homepage. You can always find the top deals highlighted in the newsletter before they appear on the front page.
